HOW TO REPORT PUPPY FARMING
PUPPY FARMING FACTS
In Britain we buy 800,000 puppies and dogs each year.
About half come from caring breeders and from rescues,
The rest come from puppy farms both in the UK and abroad. These 400,000 puppies are sold through online ads, puppy supermarkets and on the black market. If you cannot be certain how a puppy was raised, it is more than likely it has come from a puppy farm.
Poor hygiene, lack of basic vet care and packed breeding sheds increase the liklihood of pain and/or premature death after infection. The puppies are likely to have health issues due to lack of care and the mother may have been bred constantly leading to her own ill health.
